Oh me oh my it is chilly out there! Autumn is really here! I think it officially has become my favorite season of the year. When the leaves are turning colors, the air is crisp and cold, and the smells of cinnamon, nutmeg, and spice waft in the air. So refreshing.

And now I'm going to go sleep, because it is something that I haven't been getting enough of lately, and I really felt it today! Could not stop yawning!

Tomorrow is the beginning of October! That's when you know the year has really flown by!

Bought some more paper for the programs, which will hopefully be ready to assemble on Saturday. We finished all the text for the inside and are now just waiting for some pictures from the photographer.

Casey actually made me dinner for the first time in a few weeks it seems! It was so nice to have a homemade meal at home for once!

Tomorrow will supposedly be a big day for Casey to get some stuff accomplished....but according to him, everything he needs to do is done. That's just to keep my mind at ease really. But he's sweet none-the-less.

Today was another manic monday with Casey.....go go go!!!

First it was off to find and order his suit, which was a success! He's going to look great!

Then we headed to Osh for some materials for some secret projects.

Kohls was the next stop, where they were having a sale on wedding bands.....50% off. Yeah, it would have been a great deal, except they didn't have Casey's size, and titanium cannot be resized. Dammit! Still in search for the ring then!

We then met with our DJ Alvin to go over some last minute details and questions. It's going to be a rockin good time!

Then Casey and I parted ways, while he went to get CPR certified, and I got groceries.

Once I got home, I finished the last of the guests bags......thank goodness. And then was actually able to paint the entire cupcake tower. It's 11:26 and I just finished. Phew. Now, I just have to glue the ribbon down and I'll take a picture to share. Casey likes how it turned out so that's a plus!

Off to bed now, back to the real world tomorrow.

After a minor cleaning of the house this morning.........which I have come to the realization that the house will not be fully clean until after the wedding......there's no fighting it. And after work.....
I got to printing some of the program pages out.......
did my psychology homework........
made a facial appointment for this Friday morning............
helped Casey cut and punch the rest of the menus.....but then realized I still need 6 more....
organized some of the wedding paraphenalia in the garage so it's all together......
paid some bills.....
organized/finished up some of the last minute favors......
made a couple more of those camera boxes to hold the business cards for photo sharing.......
did a couple more guest bags.........
wrote a thank you letter to my grandfather.......
tried to burn a couple CD's for our meeting with the DJ tomorrow evening......
researched some pictures that I need to make my collage box for psych class.........



and then realized I need a vacation and am VERY looking forward to the honeymoon (I'll probably hit up the spa more than once).

TWENTY!?? OMG

3 weeks from today we're getting married!

I for sure would not have been able to blog at 2 am this morning when I got home after my awesome bachelorette party. Seriously. It was awesome. I woke up this morning and was still feeling the effects for the next 4 hours.

So since I was a little under the weather....I spent most of the day sitting in front of the computer printing stuff out for the wedding. Escort cards, seating charts, parts of the programs....yeah got a lot accomplished today thank goodness. Tomorrow I will probably do the same thing after work. It's crunch time!

April, Miss Hannah and I did also make it over to Michaels where we found 2 baskets, one for the mens and womens bathrooms, and some raffia filler to make the guests bathroom baskets. April has graciously taken on that task, so she'll fill them all for me and bring them the day of.

Well, I have to blog early today, since I need to get ready and by the time this evening is over, I am sure I will be in no condition to type about my day.......leave that for tomorrow!

Went to Joann's to try and find some fabric to drape between the shepherd hooks along the aisle. Found some quilters basic fabric for $3 a yard, which I think is a pretty good deal. Don't want to spend anymore than that. Haven't bought it yet.......just hope that it is the right kind of fabric and will hang the way I want it to.

Then headed to Whole Foods where I bought some provisions for this evening, including a couple loaves of bread, just for me. Coz apparently I need to eat it! Hah! Also got brownies....this girl loves chocolate, what can I say.

And so now after waking up after my nap, I need to get ready! Here's to an exciting evening with the girls!

Worked on the guests bags tonight....those are coming along. Only like 15 more to do, I think.

Also found some pictures of myself when I was young that will go into the slideshow. It was quite amusing looking at all the pictures. I pretty much made the same silly, squinty little face in all my pictures growing up. What's up with that!???

Tomorrow will be a busy day, but then I'll need to take a nap so I can get the most out of my Bachelorette Party!!! So excited! I know we'll all have such a splendid fantastic time! I'm going to be eating bread all afternoon I am sure.

I really didn't want to get up this morning, after not getting home last night until 11. But it had to be done.

Work went by fast because we were super busy, so that was nice.

Then school came around, and it was all about Values. Interesting to talk about this stuff and ponder about big issues when I'm about to get married. Kinda ties everything together and brings it all into perspective.

Tried to take it easy today with the heat and all. Did homework, spent a little time in the sun and then headed to town to watch a movie. Saw "The Informant" which was weird. Funny in some parts because the guy reminded me so much about Casey's brain.

Casey also looked through some of my baby photo books, since apparently there are not enough pictures of me for the slideshow.........plenty of Casey, but not me. So, we can fix that now.

Then after a nice dinner, we headed back home to the Bay and was able to get some "wordage" out for the programs during the drive. Nothing like being a multi-tasker at every minute of this process!

Well, today seemed like quite the long day! Seriously! Woke up at 4 am and traveled to Placerville with the rest of the morning commute. Got to my parents house around 8 which gave Casey enough time to take a quick cat nap, and me enough time to get ready for our photo shoot. After the guys got lost in the woods (Bad GPS apparently!), they arrived and were amazed with the surroundings they had to work with for the photos. We were excited to see what they had in store for us.

So we walked down to my parents lawn and around the creek, and over the bridge and into the woods... and took lots of great pics I think. Didn't really get to see any of them, so the real test will be when we finally get them back! Which should be soon, I think we'll get them next week.

But it was a very interesting process, since Casey and I don't get our pictures taken too often (coz somebody doesn't like the camera)....anyways, we were very new to the whole, working the camera angle. At one point they told us to nuzzle our cheeks together like we were 2 cats. Yeah, it definitely made us laugh!

So once the photo shoot was done, we headed to Folsom where we had lunch and found Casey some new shoes, as well as ribbon for our favors. Yeah......that was an interesting purchase buying 20 rolls of ribbon. Oh well.........had to do it!

So back up the hill we went and settled into the downstairs living room where it was cool, and started busting out our favors. Not going to give anything away, since they are still a surprise (had to make sure my parents didn't do any snooping around). But we got them all done! Another big thing done!

Then we had dinner and listened to a bunch of music which resulted in finding 2 important songs!

The song I will walk down the aisle to........... and......... Father/Daughter dance!

What a relief! Another thing to check off the list!

After a ten hour day at the spa......I am finally home but need to pack and get ready to leave at 5am tomorrow morning. We're heading to Pville for our engagement shoot! Should be loads of fun! Too bad Casey is not feeling too well.....I think the change in hours of his job has finally gotten to him.

So off to bed I go, with echinacea tea in hand. Don't even want to chance it this close to the wedding. Need to be healthy!!!

I think we have finally gotten our outfits situated for the engagement shoot on Monday morning in Pville. It only took a million trips to various stores/malls........but we got it done!

We are also fully prepared to get the favors packaged and done. We plan on taking them to Pville and work on them there. Nothing like a little assembly line between Casey and I........that's the only thing that is still a complete surprise to our guests.

Tomorrow will be one, long busy day at Pavia, so I guess I should take it easy and get my zzzzz's while I still can! These next 3 weeks are going to fly by I am sure!

After a relaxing manicure this morning, went in search of more gift bags and ribbon for hotel guests, while Casey made some color copies. (Note to self, Kinkos is expensive! Office Depot is cheaper, or even just biting the bullet and buying more ink for your home printer. We'll be doing the rest of our printing that way.) Which for that, we bought more paper for our programs and escort cards, that still all need to be printed out.

Then it was back home to finish some gift bags, as Casey glued down all the table numbers. (Those turned out really cute I think.)

So after a fun evening with the family (minus Casey unfortunately again), I'm home about to pass out, waiting for another busy day tomorrow!

One month from today.

Yep. That's it! One month. CRAAAZZYYY!!!!!!!!

We received our guestbook today.......it looks so cute! Love love love it!!!! Can't wait to see what people write in there!

I've started organizing goody bags.....just hope that I have enough, and don't need to make anymore!

Tomorrow is another big day.....pretty much any day that Casey and I have off together is a big day because we can get a lot done in that time frame.

That's right.....30 days. Yeesh....In a month, I will be resting my head on my pillow dreaming of waking up and enjoying a wonderful day with family and friends! In one month!

Came home to find a nice wedding envelope/gift! Thank you!

Also received my bridesmaids gifts.....another great job from an etsy designer/artist. I am continually impressed with that company. So I spent a little time organizing their gift bags. One step at a time........that's all I tell myself, because that's really all the time that I have at this point.

Another long day of work. Both art and massage.

Casey wants to make a definite plan of attack if for some chance it does rain on October 17th. Just so we have an idea of what we'd like to do with the decor so that it turns out just as awesome.

Today was the last day for guests to reserve a hotel room at the Hawthorn Suites for the wedding. So now I will really know how many guests' bags to put together. Once I finish those, that will be a big checkmark off the list.

Casey was so great today....he actually brought me dinner on my break so we could eat together. What a guy.

Well.........another busy busy day......

• Met with Nona our florist to go over details, and ending up changing my whole bouquet! It's crazy how your moods/opinions will change over a year! Haha...... so instead of orange calla lilies with orange roses........we're going with white calla lilies, white roses and green cymbidium orchids. It's going to look so pretty!!!! That also meant that we changed Casey's boutonniere from an orange calla to a white calla.....so everything is hunky dorry with the flowers!
• Then we met with Gloria to go over our cupcakes decorations, flavors and the cake topper. She will be able to make it look similar to the cupcake tower that I am painting, so everything will flow together.
• Still on the quest to find the best (ie inexpensive) place to get rose petals. Turns out my florists suggests to guy bouquets of roses and just take off the petals. They last longer that way. Hopefully Costco is the answer.

Then enjoyed a nice dinner with the in-laws and finished off the evening with an interview with the local news channel! They tracked me down and wanted to ask my questions about Annie. I happily, yet nervously obliged, and wanted to try and portray Annie in the best light possible.

News starts next. We'll see how I did.

Well today was quite an exhausting day for me.

I had a full day at Pavia......but the looming thought of my missing friend just kept creeping into my mind all day. I tried to get past it, and was successful at times. But by the time I got home, they had found remains of a body within the walls of the basement at the Yale building.






So I have spent the last 3 hours attempting to do homework, but have been reminiscing and talking with my high school friends on Facebook. It's nice to reconnect with everyone, even if it is such an awful and terrible circumstance that has brought us all together.

Rest In Peace Annie. You touched many hearts throughout your life. I hope your fiancee and family find strength and serenity during this horrible, hard time.

Went and did my last dress fitting today! Yeah!!!!!!!! It looks great! I brought along all the accessories and they look wonderful together....just great! Very happy with all my choices. They still need to finish the alterations and hemming. So my mom will leave it there until she picks up the day they leave town to come down for the wedding.

Her dress looks lovely too! She also brought along earrings and shoes, but turns out she needed to get some different earrings according to the ladies at the shop......they made good points though. And then we even got into color of toe nails and lipstick....these ladies think of everything! It's all one package ya know.......everything goes together! Hahah. They really know how to do their job though!

So then I did some poking around at all their little accessories and gifts and thought........hmm, maybe I should skip the flower and go with a hat!? Isn't it fetching!??

Hahah.......Then I seriously asked if they sold this stuff and they said of course! Guess the older crowd likes to wear this stuff on day picnics/garden parties. They even had little tiny parasols. How cute!

Then my mom and I went off in search of unmentionables for the day of the wedding. :) Found some cute stuff.

And then I had to deal with more up and down news about my friend who is still missing.......they found a body.......oh no they didn't........oh they found bloody clothes......oh well, they don't know if they are tied to her or not..........oh well, we can't comment, we just know that we have not found her yet and we are still searching.

Well, obviously they have no called off her wedding, and I just cannot believe what all of her family, fiancee and friends are going through. It just breaks my heart. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Busy day of running errands with Casey. Possibly found an outfit for him to wear for the engagement photos. Now I just have to figure out what I want to wear!?

Took a nap, packed the car, headed to work for a few hours, then got on the road and headed to Placerville!

Unfortunately all the way there, I couldn't stop worrying about a story in the news. One of my friends from highschool has been missing since Tuesday. She currently resides in Connecticut/New York where she is a pharmacology student, working in the Yale lab. They haven't heard from her, and have no idea where she is. The kicker is she is supposed to be getting married on Sunday. I just can't believe what could happen to someone who is so kind, bright, intelligent, with so much to offer and a wonderful future ahead of her. I can only pray that she is found safely, and keep myself updated on all the breaking news stories.

Another fast and crazy day at work. That sure makes these days go by fast too!!!

Was able to paint a sample board of the cupcake face......woah............just had a major deja vu.....felt like I had already talked about this and typed those same exact words.

This is basically what the front faces of each tier will look like. A off white with pearl paisley designs painted on to kinda resemble frosted piping. We're hoping to have the baker make a similar design on the top of the cake to tie the whole thing together.

This is a closeup. Depending on where the light hits is when you will see the design the most. Which is exactly what I was looking for....something subtle. Then the green ribbon which will tie in with the fresh orchid buds that we'll scatter around the cake and cupcakes.

Going to try and get a bunch done tomorrow before I head off to work. Then off to Pville because I have my last dress fitting on Saturday!! Whooo hoo!!!! So exciting!!!!

Whoo!!! Bought our guest book! It should be arriving within the next week or so I guess. Exciting to check that off the list of things to do!

Received our new camera finally today! We bought a small point and click so we would have something to take with us to Vegas that was smaller. This little thing is awesome!!!! Love it!

Started to create the visual layout and decor placement write up for the planner. The sooner I do it and send it to her, the more time she has to ask questions if needed.

Well, after a long day at work and school, off to bed for me.

Man......creeping closer and closer to less that thirty days. EEEK!!!!!

Started to practice and play with designs to paint on the cupcake tower. I definitely can't do the intricate damask that I was originally thinking of doing......it would take me FOREVER! So I've settled for something a little easier for me to do. Will probably be able to start actually painting on Thursday evening.

Actually found the remaining paper needed that will actually feed through out printer for the menus!!!! Geez it took long enough! Now we can get those done!

Today was quite an accomplished day!

We headed out to the Martinelli Event Center with our planner to go over details, decor placement, and the timeline. Casey and I feel much more at ease, knowing that everything will be taken care of and in good hands with the planner and her team. She's done this A LOT and knows what she's doing........so I'm going to leave it all in her hands.

There are definitely some more details that need to be ironed out between now and the day before, but everything will get done and presented to her in a way that she will know what to do with it.

We then showed Casey's sister where the hotel was, and Bocce courts--where we will be having our rehearsal dinner. She will be a contact person for any guests that get lost or have questions, so we wanted to make sure she knew her way around Livermore a little bit.

She and I then proceeded to go shopping for an outfit for my bachelorette party! We finally found one! Whoop!!!

Well, another exciting day!

Began work on the little projects that will display the escort cards. Turns out we have to do a little more tinkering with products and such but I am sure we will figure it out!

I finally finished ordering the gifts for the bridesmaids. Took me long enough! I'm happy with my decision though!

My FFIL has passed along the cupcake tower. It has been completed as far as the construction and base coat of paint! Now I have a blank canvas upon which to paint and ribbon-ate.

I have also been instructed to add more items to my registry since there are quite a few that are no longer available online. Since I can't edit it without having to actually look at it, I'll have to get my FSisIL to do it for me. Maybe tomorrow before we head out to Livermore.......

That's right! Heading out to meet with our planner to go over details before the big day. We've never actually been at the site at the same time, so I'll be able to tell her/show her what my visions have been.

Took care of some more odds and ends this morning.

Drove all the way down to Redwood City to check out the Jewelry Exchange. Turns out they don't have many plain wedding bands. So struck out again for Casey.

Took a look at another place that sells suits and tuxes for Casey. He feels much more at ease now that he has found a place that does great alterations as well as vests in his size.

Also headed to Diddams to get some more stuff for the guests and tables. Everything is slowly but surely coming together!

Well, another successful day on the wedding front!

• Received the labels last night so I was able to print them all out this morning........they look pretty snazzy!!!!
• Received the boxes for the favors.......also very snazzy!
• Casey started working on the seating chart today. Turns out harder than he thought it was going to be! Hah! He's still in the preliminary stages, so it may not be until next week when we can start to print out the escort cards and such.
• He finished ordering the rest of his groomsmen's gifts.
• We printed out a mock-up of the program. Needs a little bit of additions and tweaking here and there. But it is definitely coming along and we like the progress!
• Turns out I will be making little gift bags for the out-of-town guests for when they check into the hotel. That will be another fun little project!

Hopefully if I get some more of my homework done tomorrow, we will head over to Redwood City in search of Casey's wedding band. And maybe even check out another place for his suit.

Went to the orientation for my online math class. You have to actually go to the school twice; once for the midterm and once for the final. Turns out the midterm is while I am in Vegas! Hopefully he will be understanding and allow me to take it at a different time! My other class I had last night had a similar conflict, in that we are supposed to make presentations the day I'm in Vegas, and he said we could figure something out. Hopefully everything goes smoothly......don't need another thing to stress out about!

Turns out that invitation I made a couple nights ago was put to good use! Another invite!

The guest count has officially made it to 100.....so now we are waiting for 25 more rsvps.

Recieved the blank sheets of labels for the favors.....hopefully they are compatible and will print out a-o-k!

Rehearsal dinner invites went out and turned out beautifully! My FMIL has great taste!

And now I am off to hibernate for the next 12 hours.....after 3 grueling days with work and school............I am spent.

Just got back from class!

That's right. Back to school again. Only taking 2 classes; one is only on Wednesday evenings and the other is online, which is great!

Casey was a doll and worked on the programs for me today while I was at work. He also searched for more special songs for the wedding.

And we got 6 more RSVP cards.....and they were all yes!!!! That makes the total 97 so far!!! That means Casey can get his magic rolling with the seating chart! He is in charge of that task!!

Now I'm off to bed. I'm tired.

After a busy day at work.....had a craft/painting evening at one of my friend's/co-worker's house......working on a gift/project for the bridesmaids. Just a small something. It was fun.

Now it's almost 10 and I feel like I should get something else accomplished....maybe go buy the favor boxes. Ooooh....and I'll take a look at the programs. I keep forgetting about those!

I did order a camera last night!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whooo!!! So exciting! A nice little gift to Casey and myself for when we head off to Vegas. I don't want to lug my big camera around, and want to take better pictures than my iPhone can....so a small point and click camera was the ticket! It should be arriving next week!
